Activist urges regulation of rave party licences to curb drug use

New laws should be brought in to cover the licensing of rave parties to stop the spread of party drugs, an anti-drugs activist said yesterday.

Wong Chun, a member of the Action Committee Against Narcotics, said more police raids on rave parties might only push youngsters to seek drugs at underground venues, making detection more difficult.
