The China-Hong Kong Transport Trade Coalition disbanded last night after truck drivers said police no longer respected the group. Police objected to this morning's proposed slow-drive protest in Central and at the Kwai Chung Container Terminal. The drivers, angry at cargo loaders for imposing a $40 handling fee, did not rule out action by individual members.
