Higher first class

First class air fares rose by a greater percentage than other classes of airline travel in the Asian region in this year's second quarter, according to the American Express Airfare Index. Fares originating in Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and Taiwan rose by about 4 per cent in the second quarter.
