Third suspect held in $2.8m airline theft

A third person has been arrested in connection with a suspected $2.8 million embezzlement case against Cathay Pacific, allegedly involving a 42-year-old airline manager and his girlfriend, 38.

Police said yesterday the woman suspect, 41, a relative of the manager, was arrested hours after he and his girlfriend were taken into custody on Tuesday. The three are suspected of falsifying invoices to the airline over five years.
