Gambler '$3.9m in red'

The Las Vegas Hilton Hotel filed a High Court writ seeking the repayment of US$500,000 (HK$3.9 million) lent to a Hong Kong gambler. It says it lent Chen Xiao-lin US$1 million to gamble at the casino and he lost the entire amount during his stay between May 26 and 30 last year. Only half the amount has been repaid, the writ states.
