Mortgage cover grows

Hong Kong Mortgage Corp today will expand its mortgage insurance cover for uncompleted flats from 85 per cent to 90 per cent of the loan-to-value ratio. This will allow buyers of uncompleted flats to borrow mortgages equal to 90 per cent of the flat's value. Without the cover, buyers can only borrow 70 per cent.
