Taiwan airline Eva Air has installed fax machines on board its aircraft with satellite telephone links. All Eva Air passengers aboard transpacific and transcontinental flights can now send faxes on the upper decks of the airline's giant Boeing passenger aircraft. The new service is offered on every route EVA Air serves with its B747-400 aircraft, and can be used for outgoing faxes only. The air-to-land faxes cost 88 US cents per minute, automatically rounded up to the nearest cent and charged to a major credit card. Fax services on Eva flights to and from all North American gateways, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Newark and Vancouver. It is also available to and from London, Paris and Amsterdam, and on select flights serving Hong Kong, Macau, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Ho Chi Minh City. www.evaair.com.tw

Courses and corresponding questions will change every two weeks, so contestants have four chances to win the first prize - vacation to Switzerland, Yellowstone National Park, New York City or Rio de Janeiro.
