An 11-year-old girl was found hanged on Tuesday in the bathroom of her Kowloon Tong home, police said.

The girl was found by her grandmother at 7.06am, a police spokesman said. She was rushed to the Caritas Medical Centre where she was declared dead a little over an hour later.

No suicide note was found and police said there were no supsicious circumstances surrounding the girl's death.
