Investigation launched into vandalism of 29 vehicles

Police appealed to the public on Friday to provide information about 29 vehicles found vandalised in the Western district on Friday.


A police spokesman said that at about 1.20am an officer discovered a number of vehicles with their windows smashed.


Twenty-nine vehicles, including 14 cars, 11 light-goods vehicles, two taxis and two medium-goods vehicles were vandalised.


The vehicles were parked in 13 locations, including: High Street, 428 Third Street, 155 Queen's Road West, 155 Connaught Road West, 23 Pok Fu Lam Road, Hill Road, Fung Mat Road, Davis Street and Hau Wo Street.


Police are trying to locate owners of the vehicles. Investigations are proceeding.
