Referee fights for life

Doctors at Eastern Hospital were last night battling to save the life of basketball referee Wong Kam-tim, 57, who tripped and fell on his head during a match at Southorn Playground indoor stadium, Wan Chai. He was taken unconscious to Tang Shiu Kin Hospital for emergency treatment before being transferred to Eastern Hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
