Just the ticket
The stock markets are miserable and lay-offs and salary freezes are the talk of the town. But if you can't beat the situation, you might as well have a laugh about it, which is exactly what Hong Kong Repertory's (below) musical, Hong Kong For Sure, is all about.
Tickets are still available for this energetic take on the plight of Hong Kong's citizens, written by award-winning playwright James Cheung. Plenty of song and dance as well as a hefty dose of satire makes this production light relief.

The folks at Hong Kong Players are ready for some more stage action. Their play, The Opposite Sex, is billed as a 'double date from hell'. Loosely based on British playwright David Tristram's play, What's For Pudding?, the story is about two couples who meet by chance and realise that each has had an affair with their opposite partner. Rage and revenge ensue. The director is Christine Baldwin (above) and this is her fifth show with the Players.
