Sports car racket smashed

Police believe they have smashed a syndicate specialising in the theft of expensive sport cars for spare parts. Twelve stolen sports cars - all Japanese-made and worth about $3 million - were found hidden in a remote village in Choi Yuen Tsuen, Hung Shui Kiu, Yuen Long. Six were intact, four had been dismantled and two had had their licence plates removed. A man, 33, was arrested.
