Rivals going head to head

Wharf (Holdings) has received Government consent for the pre-sale of the 1,272-unit phase one development of its Sorrento project at Kowloon Station. Real estate agents said the project probably would clash with The Victoria Towers, developed by rival Cheung Kong (Holdings) in nearby Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. Cheung Kong also has pre-sale consent and is in the process of preparing to launch the 988-unit The Victoria Towers on the market.
