Raffle hoopla was ill-conceived
I was interested to read that three parents of children at an ESF school felt their children had come under pressure to sell raffle tickets (Education Post, November 17).
I have two children who attend the same school and never in the last seven years have I felt any compunction to buy, nor have my children felt afraid to return unsold raffle tickets. It is unfortunate that the parents concerned chose to approach the Press rather than contacting the school principal. In my experience of this school, their opinions would have been valued and their point of view respected.
