Inauguration and graduation all in a week's work for new head

Baptist University's president and vice-chancellor Ng Ching-fai was officially inaugurated this week. A day later he conferred degrees on 1,970 graduates in a five-session ceremony, when he advised them to adopt a 'wide world view' and lifelong learning.

Of the graduates, 11 obtained PhD degrees, 221 were awarded Master's degrees and 136 others received postgraduate diplomas in education.
