Obsessive slimming can be bad for your health
I am concerned about those people who attach too much importance to being slim and to dieting, which can lead to them ignoring their health.
They take weight-loss products such as pills, supplements, and special drinks, and try to lose a lot of weight in a very short period of time. Often they spend enormous amounts of money in an effort to reach their target weight. They can end up making themselves ill.
If excessive amounts of weight-loss products are taken this can have adverse side-effects.
I do not think slimness should always be equated with good health. In order to stay healthy people should have a balanced diet, make sure they get enough sleep, and take enough exercise; everything in moderation.
