Education a basic right for all children

As a secondary school student, I am appalled at the Government's attitude towards the right-of-abode children who are seeking an education in the SAR.

I think they should be allowed to attend school while they are still young enough to have an interest in learning.

The love of learning wanes with age.

I am 14 and had I not been given a chance to get an education from an early age, I doubt if I would have wanted to continue getting up early each morning to attend school.

Everyone is entitled to an education.

This is a principle that should be adhered to by all civilised societies.
