Hiker in critical condition after hillside fall sees three airlifted to hospital

Three hikers were airlifted to Eastern Hospital after they fell more than 10 metres in Ma On Shan yesterday. One sustained head injuries and was in a critical condition and the others were stable.

Police said the three went hiking with four friends at 9am and when they were scaling Ngau Ngak Shan at 1pm, three of them lost their balance. Two fell into a valley and the third into a river.
