Is bus TV debate much ado about nothing?

I do not object to the current operation of the on-board television in buses, simply because when it comes to any campaign against bus operators, there are more important things to highlight.

But I also support your correspondent David Slough's call (South China Morning Post, January 2) for the Citizens Party to collect and publish names of advertisers of the on-board television. Mr Slough would like us to boycott their products.

If the party does this, we will be able to see from the public reaction to the boycott call how many people in our society consider it meaningful and worthwhile to spend so much time and effort in pursuing this cause. It will also indicate how in touch the party is, politically, with the general public.
