South China Morning Post photographers (from left) Edward Wong, Oliver Tsang and David Wong display the prizes they landed in the first Photographer of the Year Awards held by the Foreign Correspondents' Club.


David Wong won top prize in the Hong Kong News category for his photo showing mainland pirate Yang Jingtao, 25, being loaded on to a truck before his execution in Guangdong last year. He was also second runner-up in the Photographer of the Year category.


Edward Wong won an honourable mention in the Hong Kong News category, and Tsang an honourable mention in the City of Life category.
