Two workers were seriously injured in an explosion at a Tsuen Wan medicine manufacturing plant yesterday.
The blast occurred when a worker was pouring chemicals into a mixer at the Medipharma plant in Texaco Road. The 24-year-old man and a female cleaner, 51, were taken to Yan Chai Hospital. The man suffered about 50 per cent burns to his upper body and was later transferred to the Prince of Wales Hospital.
