AEROPORTS de Paris (ADP) has embarked on an aggressive marketing programme to woo more users from Hongkong.

An ADP spokesman said the company had committed to invest US$300 million between 1988 and 1995 to provide the best air cargo facilities in Europe.

The country's national line, Air France has now eight B747 freighters, each with a capacity of 38, 10 ft pallets, to provide quality services on the Europe route.

The number of pallets and containers to be transferred to the passenger terminal for loading on to passenger aircraft also increased sharply.

Air France has made Paris as a major hub where freight originating throughout Europe is transferred to its long-haul network and vice-versa.
