A man and two women were arrested for breaking into a construction site in Wong Nai Chung Road, Happy Valley, and trying to steal $50,000 worth of aluminium bars. The group, all two-way permit holders, were spotted acting suspiciously outside the site by plainclothes police officers and were arrested when they tried to flee with the bars.
