A group of students from Man Kiu College went on a picnic earlier this year and had a great time. Here are two accounts of their outing.

My classmates and I went to a beautiful park in Aberdeen for our school picnic. It was raining in the morning, but by the time we got there, the skies were clear.

With a large beach and a big playground, the stage was set for a fun-filled day. We had planned to have a barbecue, so we brought lots of food, including chicken wings, red meat and bread.

We talked about the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday during the meal. Our teacher, Mrs Chan, asked: 'What are your plans for the holiday?'

I answered first: 'I will play every day!'

Although Mrs Chan looked annoyed, everybody else was laughing. After the barbecue, we went to the beach and took many photos. I care a lot about Bowling, Daisy and Jennifer, so I was happy to take pictures with them. However, I saw one of our classmates sitting alone and I was sad that she didn't join us. I hope she can play with us the next time.

We will remember this day for a long time.

I went to Aberdeen for an outing with my classmates and class teacher.

We arrived there at about 10 o'clock. First, we went to start a barbecue. We bought many things - chicken wings, beef balls, sausages, bread and sweet potatoes.

Two hours later, all of us went to the park to play on the swings and the slide. We were playing happily, when the teacher said: 'Time's up!'

The journey made me feel very happy, but I felt that time had passed too quickly.

I hope there will be more field trips in the future.
