Why do you publish so many, often innocuous, letters signed name and address supplied - a practice to which no other reputable newspaper in the world subscribes except when the physical safety of the writer could be threatened?



The Editor replies: Letter writers must send their full name and address. However, individuals have a right to privacy, which we respect.
