Backing KCR bid

I would like to see the KCR Corporation win the right to build the rail link between Sha Tin and Central, rather than the MTR. If the KCRC wins the race, commuters travelling to and from the New Territories and Central will not have to change at Sha Tin.

If the MTR wins, commuters will have to change at Sha Tin.

Under the proposals put forward by the KCRC plan passengers living in Tai Po and Sheung Shui, and coming from the mainland, would save a lot of time.

With the MTR passengers would have to travel underground, while the KCR stations would be above ground, so travelling would be easier.

I suspect that many people living in the New Territories hope the KCRC bid is successful.
