Supervisor could curb queue-jumpers
I have been travelling on the No 1 minibus from Central to the Peak for the last two years.
I have experienced an increasing number of delays, because more people are using it as a result of the number of construction projects on the Peak.
The busiest period is between 7.30am and 8.15am. On one day I had to wait for about 25 minutes in the queue.
A Chinese man pushed in front of me. I asked him to join the end of the queue and he responded by swearing at me. I am of Chinese descent so I understood him.
After that incident three other men pushed in front of a woman behind me.
These two incidents highlighted the need for a supervisor. There was one for a few weeks. Why has he not been brought back? And when is the minibus company going to provide a more frequent service during these peak times? Also, if I am verbally abused again, who do I get in touch with to complain?
The minibus company should not be held directly responsible for the actions of others, but it must provide a better service so incidents like the one I experienced are not repeated.
