I assume the developer who is proposing to destroy Stanley Market wishes to remain anonymous so that angry Hongkongers do not boycott any other developments or shopping centres this short-sighted company already owns.

Either that, or the company is not proud enough of its proposal and therefore should not have submitted it in the first place.

I really hope the appropriate government department squashes this proposal, treating it with the contempt it so richly deserves.
