I would like to ask the management of Morrison Hill outdoor swimming pool why they kept the pool open throughout the winter months when it is too cold for all but the most hardy to use, then closed it on April 2 (one day after all other outdoor pools opened) for major refurbishment.

Why did they not carry out the work during the winter months, causing inconvenience to a few, so that the pool was ready in time for the summer period, for all to use?

The whole of the outside pool is now a construction site and a sign suggests it will be closed for at least two months.
