Drivers have no parking spaces on road

Stopping for pick-up and drop-off, let alone parking, has become impossible these days at the upper part of Wyndham Street and the area of Hollywood Road which connects with Wyndham Street. This is effectively a no-stopping area.

There is only one drop-off and pick-up space for cars.

However, parking has been provided for motorcycles and whole areas are cordoned off for this purpose.

Could the police or the Highways Department explain this anomaly?

Where can the office-goers working in the area from 1-20 Hollywood Road and between 60 and 70 Wyndham Street get off and get on cars or hail a taxi?

The police issue tickets even one space before the drop-off bay, as, technically, the driver has stopped in a no-stopping area.

The parking problems have to be remedied as soon as possible.
