Chinese International School students dressed in ancient Chinese costumes rehearse their play The Golden Peaches of Samarkand. The show, set in the period of the Tang dynasty and based on Edward Schafer's novel of the same name, was on this week at the Braemar Hill school. Many of the songs performed were based on adaptations of poems by renowned Tang poet Wang Wei. A total of 55 students in Years Seven to Nine were involved in the performance and production, including stage design.
