A university lecturer has been arrested in connection with an alleged indecent assault of his domestic helper after surrendering himself to police yesterday. The 49-year-old man, surnamed Tse, was released on bail of $2,000. Police launched a search for him after his Filipino maid, aged 22, claimed she had been attacked by him. He was not at home in Heng Fa Chuen, Chai Wan, on Tuesday when police went to investigate.
