The Emperor's New Garden: A Reconstruction Project in the Forbidden City

This lecture hosted by the Asia Society and given by the project manager of the China Heritage Fund, Happy Harun, will discuss some of the magnificent gardens that once bloomed behind the walls of Beijing's ancient Forbidden City. The Hong Kong-based China Heritage Fund has been working on the conservation of these gardens, which were a favourite of the Qianlong emperor.
