Bank of East Asia has released the terms of a 140 per cent home loan it will advance as a signatory of the Hong Kong Mortgage Corp's Home Programme. It will make the loans at between 1.75 per cent and 0.5 per cent below the prime rate. Loan tenor will be up to 30 years and the bank will pay the annual insurance premium payable to the HKMC.
