Special vest has been given restricted approval

The 'Travellers' checks' column in Post Magazine on September 22 mentioned the Baby B'Air flight vest for use on planes by children under two.

Purchasers should be aware that the vest has only been approved by the US Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) for in-flight use (that is, not during the most dangerous periods, takeoff and landing).

The FAA recommends that parents purchase a seat for their small babies and strap them into it in an approved car seat.
