No Hong Kong high kicks for beefy Arnie

Jackie Chan

Forgive Arnold Schwarzenegger for sticking to his all-brawn formula. Hollywood's beefcake admits that, unlike Hong Kong's action stars, he is too big to do anything else.

For his new science-fiction movie, T3: The Rise Of The Machines, the 52-year-old actor has rejected Hong Kong-style martial arts in favour of his tried-and-tested muscle flexing. 'I love the Hong Kong-style of action movies, but that only looks good for small guys . . . When you're a big guy, it doesn't look as good,' he told Hollywood media. 'The way Jackie Chan survives in the movies is because he's so fast he runs up the fence and jumps over the wall and does all those kind of things.'
