Arnie tackles Mexico
ARNOLD Schwarzenegger appeared in Mexico to promote his movie Last Action Hero, hoping for a hit abroad after disappointing box office receipts at home.
Schwarzenegger's US$80 million (HK$620 million) film fizzled out of the Top 10 after four weeks against such heavyweights as Jurassic Park and The Firm.
But the muscle man of Hollywood isn't giving up yet.
''I make movies that people want to see. What does it matter if you win two Oscars but nobody goes to your film,'' Schwarzenegger said.
His competition looks familiar in Mexico City, where queues are running long for Jurassic Park.
