A week-long festival of the chakras (a Sanskrit word meaning wheel or circle said to signify the wheels of energy that exist in us all) begins with a free talk today with Australian Teena Alicea, who introduces Aura Soma, a colour system that 'corresponds directly with the chakras in our bodies'. 7pm-9pm, Insenses Gallery, Basement, 41 Staunton Street, Central. Jac Vidgen, the senior practitioner of the Buteyko breathing method (which argues that common ailments and problems with asthma, allergies, fatigue, rhinitis, stress, sleep and anxiety disorders are related to our tendency to over-breathe) is back in town, holding workshops from Nov 10 to Dec 1 in Central, Sai Kung And Wan Chai.
