Guilin Revisited - Landscape Series

This is the first solo exhibition of Mao Yigang's works at the Schoeni Art Gallery. Mao was born in Beijing in 1958 and travelled to Guilin two years ago to search for tranquility. Judging by these large oil-on-canvas works, he found that serenity. This is an exhibition of spectacular landscapes, with a heightened sense of peace pervading them all.
