Lady Luck was smiling on Wah Yan College (Hong Kong) as both the school's Grade A and B football teams went through to their respective inter-school finals in dramatic style at Happy Valley on Sunday.

All but one of Sunday's four Grade A and B semi-finals were decided in the most cruel way possible - by penalty kicks.

Defending Division One Grade A champions Island School forced their way into next week's final with a hard-fought 1-0 victory against St Joseph's College in the only game that didn't require a penalty shootout.

Facing Island in the December 6 final will be Wah Yan College (Hong Kong), who reached the championship match thanks to a penalty shoot-out win over St Paul's College after a 1-1 draw.

Wah Yan's hero was Anthony Chan Yu-sun, who handled the pressure with aplomb as he coolly netted the winning penalty kick.

Wah Yan's (Hong Kong) Grade B side were also celebrating after winning their semi-final against Wah Yan College (Kowloon) in another penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw.

La Salle College will be their opponents in the December 8 final.

La Salle took a similar route to the title clash after their match against King George V School ended 0-0.
