A former broker was fined HK$48,000 and ordered to pay investigation costs of HK$8,335 to the Securities and Futures Commission for illegally short selling securities. Heng Hian Mok, formerly of Lei Shing Hong Securities, pleaded guilty in Western Magistracy yesterday to short selling from September 14 last year to January 2.
