Rain sees Hong Kong through to final

Hong Kong will meet Singapore in the final of the Tuanku Ja'afar Trophy today at the Hong Kong Cricket Club after yesterday's match against Malaysia was abandoned due to rain. Hong Kong had beaten Singapore by six runs on Friday while Singapore had beaten Malaysia in their round-robin game a day earlier. Yesterday's match was called off after Hong Kong, electing to bat, had made 181 for seven in 45 overs. Skipper Rahul Sharma top-scored with 61 while Tim Smart made 42 and Ravi Sujanani hit an unbeaten 39.
