A 14-month-old girl was held from an 18-floor canopy by her father during a three-hour standoff with police yesterday. Carrying his daughter, the man, 32, climbed on to the canopy outside the lift lobby of Lung Moon House, Wong Tai Sin Lower Estate, at 3am after a dispute with his girlfriend. Firefighters inflated an air cushion below and police negotiators were called in. The man handed the toddler over and returned to the flat at 6am. No one was hurt.
