I refer to Mr G.C. Emerson's letter in the Education Post, November 30. The library automation system, which provides 24-hour Internet library services - including catalogue searches, renewals and reservations - is now being customised to send automatic e-mail notification to readers for collection of reserved items. This is expected to be available in the near future. We would like to thank Mr Emerson for his suggestions and support for our services.
