WRONG FIGURE

I refer to the letter from Freda Chan (for Commissioner for Transport) headlined 'Department's powers over bus televisions are limited' (South China Morning Post, December 23), concerning TV services on franchised buses.

In her letter Ms Chan wrote that recent survey findings showed that about 76 per cent of respondents accepted the (TVs on buses) service and about '12 per cent did not accept it'.

In the published version this appeared as 'about one per cent did not', which was incorrect.
