A 36-year-old motorcyclist was killed on his birthday after falling off his bike and being hit by a taxi in Pat Heung. Police believe that Wong Yiu-hung came off his bike while trying to negotiate a bend near the Tai Mo Shan observation kiosk in Pat Heung shortly after 4pm. He rolled on to the opposite side of the road, where he was hit by a taxi. Wong died shortly after admission to Yan Chai Hospital.
