House burglars in Sai Kung made off with a 150cm-high safe containing a .226 calibre hunting rifle and about 200 rounds of ammunition. Police said the 47-year-old occupant of the Sheung Sze Wan Road house told them he was licensed to keep the rifle and ammunition at home. The man told police the safe also contained jewellery worth $45,000. Police went to the house shortly after 9pm when the burglar alarm sounded.
