Playing at the Pen

The Peninsula hotel invited supporters and friends for champagne and nibbles as part of its 75th anniversary celebrations. Guests included Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels chairman Michael Kadoorie and wife Betty, Bank of East Asia chairman Dr David Li Kwok-po and wife, Penny, their son Adrian, Nissan Motor's Hiroshi Moriyama, as well as Arnhold group chairman Michael Green and head of Chelsea Securities, managing director James Filmer-Wilson. Party-goers mingled merrily in the hotel lobby and forecourt to the orchestral music conducted by London Symphony Orchestra's former chairman Anthony Camden.
