MAINLAND RENOVATORS ARRESTED IN RESTAURANT

Immigration officers arrested nine mainlanders in San Po Kong yesterday for allegedly working illegally to renovate a restaurant. The men, and another suspected of being their employer, were rounded up when 27 officers acting on a tip-off raided the fifth-floor restaurant in Ning Yuen Street at about 10.30am. The men, aged between 24 and 45, were held for questioning.
