Fireworks attacker stays silent

A man who tried to light firecrackers on a flight from Chongqing to Chengdu on Friday has refused to speak since his arrest, China News service said. The agency said that police had not yet determined whether he was trying to hijack the plane. The man, who was from Sichuan province, was injured in the abdomen and chest when the fireworks exploded. He was arrested after the flight landed in Chengdu.
